About me.
Since moving to Yorkshire from London in 2008 Sarah has been inspired by the breathtaking Yorkshire countryside and in particular how the colours and textures of the trees change across the year. Add to that the rolling, undulating hills and the dramatic open skies; Sarah finds it hard to imagine living in a more beautiful place. Sarah’s passion is painting trees trees and landscapes although has recently worked on a series of paintings and commissions of bright abstracts on glass.
Sarah has been painting for most of her life but has turned her hobby into a career in the last 5 years. She is self taught and has developed her style and techniques through trial and error and sheer determination. When painting on glass Sarah paints everything in reverse, painting things in the foreground first then layering the paint from behind. This means she is almost painting blindly and has to look at the glass from behind in order to review the progress and how to continue with the painting
She works from home in her studio in Collingham near Wetherby and is often accompanied by her loyal (yet sometimes vocal) Cockerpoo dog Dougie.

A quick video showing how it works.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
